Cindy Gray
Managing Director, CEO & Founder

Cindy is a financial communications practitioner with 20 years of experience in investor relations and capital markets. She has held senior and executive positions at a number of public companies, and globally led business development for one of the TSX & TSX Venture Exchange practice groups. She has been involved in the design and execution of tactical and strategic communications programs across multiple industries, including technology, natural resources, real estate and financial services. Cindy holds an MBA from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business and currently serves as a board member of Think Research (TSXV: THNK), an industry leader in delivering integrated digital healthcare solutions. She is also a member of the Local Advisory Committee (LAC) for TSX Venture Exchange in Calgary.

Devon Chase
Director

Devon joined 5Q in 2019 with diverse financial experience, ranging from oil and gas trading analysis, to auditing mergers and acquisitions, to healthcare financial reporting. In addition to these more quantitative focused involvements, Devon also brings with him a history of strategic communications and marketing with a start-up organization.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a finance focus, with distinction, from the University of Victoria.

Alexis Harper
Digital Communications Strategist

Alexis is a bilingual communications professional who joined the 5Q team in 2021, bringing expertise in marketing translation, public relations, and corporate media strategies. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Communications from McMaster University, Alexis is a skilled writer who has contributed to various news and business publications. Her proficiency in social media and corporate brand development allows her to craft compelling narratives that bridge language gaps and resonate with diverse audiences.

Brendan Greenslade
Associate

Brendan joined 5Q in late 2023, bringing to the team a diverse skill set garnered through a blended career in communications and entrepreneurship. As proud alumnus of Mount Royal University’s Bachelor of Applied Communication – Public Relations program, Brendan brings extensive expertise as a seasoned communications professional and business development specialist. His diverse background spans various industries, including non-profit, construction, retail, commercial cannabis and public sectors. Leaning on his rich professional background and experience in building small businesses, Brendan’s acuity and strategic mindset assists clients in refining their data and shaping compelling narratives through intentional key messaging and communication strategies that seamlessly align with their brand and vision.

Christa Leamon
Director, People & Corporate Services

Christa joined the 5Q team in 2022, bringing valuable expertise in administration and a strong background in the commercial banking and construction industries. With a proven track record of optimizing operational systems and ensuring high client satisfaction, Christa excels in driving peak performance. Beyond her professional achievements, she proudly represents the Ishkahittaan Clan and is a citizen of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation, with a deep passion for advancing healing in Canada through reconciliation and the revitalization of Tlingit culture.

Christa is a dedicated member and serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors at Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA), where she brings her strong leadership and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Ken Gray
Finance Director

Ken joined the 5QIR team upon inception in 2013, following the sale of his previous business in 2005. He currently manages 5QIR’s finance and accounting functions, and oversees corporate administration. He brings more than 30 years of experience running a small business that serviced clients in Calgary’s oil and gas industry. Ken was Co-Founder and Manager of LaserSoftware Limited, an independent software development company that provided financial accounting & land contract management software for oil & gas companies since 1980. Ken and his wife, Sharon-Ann, enjoy an active lifestyle and are proud supporters of CKUA, Alberta’s cultural radio network that celebrates music, engages communities and makes life worth listening.

Coen Rybicki (fiveq)
Intern

Coen is a recent high school graduate with strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to personal and professional development. He joined 5QIR in 2023 as an intern where he’s gaining valuable insight and experience in the fields of Communications and Investor Relations. Advancing his skillset and further career objectives, Coen will be commencing his post-secondary education in the fall of 2024, at which point he will be pursuing a degree in business.

Fresh Start Recovery Centre’s treatment program recognizes addiction as a chronic brain disorder. Treatment can help facilitate a life of recovery, empowering individuals to live healthy and productive lives, free from the effects of addiction.

The FTA is an alliance representing all trail users in Fernie, BC. As a registered Charity, we work directly with member clubs, outdoor recreation groups and landowners in order to maintain and enhance Fernie’s vibrant trail using community.

Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is the primary sexual harassment, sexual abuse and sexual assault crisis, counselling and education service provider for Calgary and the surrounding areas.

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees, as well as providing no-cost equipment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Calgary & Area can play a season of sport.

Calgary Arts Foundation engages people and businesses who believe in the power of the arts to change lives and make our city a better place.
